Topic: New Payap University Sports Complex - As big as the sports complex at the 700 Year Stadium!!!
I'm researching the possibility of students (or alumni) funding a new sports complex at Payap University. I'm wondering if current students would support a slight (2%) tuition fee increase to help pay for the Sports Complex.

The sports complex would cost between 200 to 250 million Thai baht. The complex would include an olympic sized swimming pool, football stadium, tennis courts, gymnasium with a fully stocked exercise facility and much much more.

Our research team believes this will improve the quality of life of students at the university as well as make Payap one of the most attractive universities in Thialand. Sporting events, concerts, and many other events could be held in this venue.

I would be interested know how others feel about this.

Thank you for your comments

Maybe I was wrong for assuming students wanted a sports complex. There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest here.

I have finished my research. The results say the majority of students are willing to pay for a sports complex. Even the graduating ones say they will pay even though it will be finished after they graduate. I will present my results to Aj. Esther, Aj. Chawan and Aj. Waroot. I hope they will help me move forward with the sports complex idea.

When I did my calculations it comes out to about 2% of current tuition rates. But from the 416 surveys I conducted across the 13 faculties, most wanted between .5% and 1% of current tuition rates. A sports complex similiar to the 700 year stadium could be well worth the 2%. It could be adjusted in accordance to what is built. Starting at .5% initially and raising slowly to the desired 2% as the facilities reaches completion.
